Mrs. Sarah Madelene Hairr, 75

GREENVILLE Mrs. Sarah Madelene Hairr, 75 of 2908 N.C. 33 West, Greenville, died peacefully on Monday, November 12, 2012 at her home. The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Salemburg. Mrs. Hairr was born on December 13, 1936 in Sampson County to the late Felton and Louise Honeycutt McLamb. She worked as a Food Server at Sampson Regional Medical Center. She is survived by: her husband, William Earl Hairr of Salemburg; two daughters, Denise Ortiz of Roseboro and Kathy Faircloth of Clinton; one son, Thomas Earl Hairr of Roseboro; two sisters, Stella Tolar of Greenville and Jean Orr of Baltimore, MD; and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 to 1:45 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
