Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Faircloth, 94 of 4412 Dunn Road, Roseboro, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro, with Bishop Warren H. Barfield, Sr. and Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Salemburg.
Mrs. Faircloth was born on October 7, 1920 in Sampson County to the late Galaspie and Cordellia Jolly Williams. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robie Faircloth; daughter, Helen J. Cain and late husband, David; and siblings, Jennings Williams, Rudolph Williams, Marvin Williams, Lonnie Williams, Lula Bell Sessoms and Ethel McPhail. She was a homemaker, wonderful mother, grandmother and caregiver to so many.
She is survived by sons, Robie Dwight Faircloth and wife Gloria C. of N. Myrtle Beach, S.C., Roger Faircloth and wife Sarah of Lexington; daughter, Phyllis F. Worley and husband Jerry of White Lake; grandchildren, Susie Smith and husband Joe, Sophia Seward and husband Billy, Robie Brandon Faircloth, Audrea F. Matthis and husband Chris K., Chris Faircloth and wife Crystal, Curtis Faircloth, Heather Branch and husband Donald, Adam Jackson; great grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Macy Smith, Sarah Elizabeth Seward, Mary Blair Seward, Zachary B. Faircloth, Zanna A. Faircloth, Griffin L. Faircloth, Gavin K. Matthis, Nicholas Faircloth, Katelin Faircloth, Bailey Faircloth, Madison Branch, Mason Branch, Emily Jackson, Ian Jackson, Rachel Jackson; sister, Louise Hall of Autryville; brother, Bambridge Williams and wife Senie of Spivey's Corner; special caregiver, Ginger Grice; and special extended family, Ransom Autry.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 12:45 P.M. Thursday afternoon at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home.
The family would like to thank the staff of Mary Gran Nursing Center, the staff of Liberty Home Care and Hospice, her friends, and the many special angels that she called out by name often. "We appreciate all acts of kindness shown during this time."
