Mrs. Sarah M. Carter, 53

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Sarah Annette McLaurin Carter, 53 of 363 Bladen Circle, died on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, Stedman, with Rev. Danny Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at White Oak Baptist Church cemetery in White Oak. Mrs. Carter was born in 1955 in Sampson County to the late Oscar Franklin and Mary Hall McLaurin. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Carter is survived by: her husband, Ernestine Carter of the home; one daughter, Beverly Carter of Fayetteville; one granddaughter, Nicole Jordan of Fayetteville; one sister, Mary Kinlaw of White Oak; and four brothers, Charles C. McLaurin and Delton L. McLaurin, both of Stedman, Bobby N. McLaurin of Elizabethtown, and Ottis F. McLaurin of Willow Springs, NC. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman, and other times at the residence of 6406 Murphy Road.
