ROSEBORO

Ms. Sara Frances Sessoms, 79 of 656 Hitching Post Road, Roseboro, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at her home.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday, November 22, at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, with Reverend Jeff Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow at Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.

Born June 7, 1938 in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Isacc and Rose Ann Autry Sessoms. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul Henry Sessoms; sister, Mary Sessoms Tanner; and her son-in-law, Woody Edmondson, whom she loved like a son. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Rosie Edmondson of the home; and brother, Odell Sessoms of the home.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Tuesday, November 21, at Butler Funeral Home and other times at the home.
