Mrs. Salome Vernell West Fisher, 90

STEDMAN Mrs. Salome Vernell West Fisher, 90 of 6799 Faircloth Bridge Road, Stedman, died on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Cumberland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville. The funeral will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Bethany Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Jeff Burkhardt and Rev. Donald Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Fisher was born on September 4, 1923 in Cumberland County to the late Jesse Addison and Lottie Harrington West. She is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Stancil Bullock Fisher; and two sons, Gary Fisher and Larry Fisher. She was a homemaker. She is survived by: three sons, Robert Fisher and Jimmy Fisher both of Stedman, and Billy Fisher of Charlotte; two grandchildren, Jeremy Fisher and Suzanne Horne; and three great grandchildren, Jenna Fisher, Jessa Fisher and Walker Horne. The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 3:00 to 4:45 P.M. at Bethany Church of God of Prophecy, 7350 Maxwell Road, Stedman, and other times at the home of her son, Jimmy, 1064 Bainbridge Road, Stedman.
