Mrs. Sally H. Smith, 75

ROSEBORO Mrs. Sally Horne Smith, 75 of 4042 Beaver Dam Church Road, died on Monday, November 9, 2009 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with Dr. Lynn Bullock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Smith was born on December 4, 1933 in Cumberland County to the late Hersey Pittman and Mary Grice Horne. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Ernest Smith; and two brothers, Theodore Horne and Harold Horne. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Smith is survived by: three sisters, Clementine Bullard of Roseboro, Carol Smith and husband Ronald, of Roseboro, and Barba Maura of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7 until 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, and other times at the home.
