Mrs. Sadie Lanette Britt, 63 passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by grandmother, Lannie Stone; grandchildren, Megan Lewis and Josh Brisson; and brother, Wildon Stone.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm Friday, August 25, 2017 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, officiating will be Pastor Arthur Horne. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 11:45am at the funeral home Friday before the service.

She is survived by her husband and best friend, Richard West; mother, Lannie Alphin; children, Jennifer Lewis, Melinda Lewis & companion, Brian Baker, Karen Lewis, Randy Lewis, Anthony Lewis & wife, Loretta Lynn and Aisha Lewis; grandchildren, Brandon West, Kelly West, Brittany Lewis, Destiny Lewis, Christopher Lewis, Melanie Baxley, Jacob Baxley, Rebecca Lewis, Makayla Bartlemus, Victoria Brisson, Valerie Brisson and Jacob Brisson; great grandchildren, Madison Campfield, Johnathon Campfield, Raven Jones, Baby Colby, Troy Oxendine, Hailie Lilly and Trevor Lilly; and brother, Vernon "Kenny" Britt.
