Sadie Florine (Nunnery) Bigsby, 88 went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Chaplain Steve Bishop. Burial will follow at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 3:50 PM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Omega Nunnery; her husband, Harry Curtis Bigsby; grandson, Robert Edward Fortner; sister, Rachel N. Bennett; and brothers, Rufus, Preston, Max, Roland and Randolph Nunnery.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Diane Brown & husband, James, Harry Curtis Bigsby, Jr. & wife, Suzanne and Amanda Christian; sister, Vernie N. Faircloth; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous great great grandchildren.
