Mrs. Ruth E. Tyndall, 85

AUTRYVILLE Mrs. Ruth Eris Tyndall, 85 of 315 Northwest Street, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Bishop Warren Barfield and Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Baptist Chapel Church Cemetery. Mrs. Tyndall was born in 1924 in Sampson County to the late Ballard B. and Pearl Autry Autry. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Tyndall is survived by: two daughters, Helen Lott of Autryville, and Elaine Gilmer of Corpus Christi, TX; six sisters, Honesta Faircloth of Autryville, Bertie Mae Daniels of Autryville, Gladys "Kitty" Klug of Williston, ND, Romelia Stanley of Autryville, Mary Elizabeth Sessoms of Clinton, and Janie Sova of Autryville; one brother, Grover Autry of Autryville; four grandchildren, Steve Wells, Lora Crooks, Tracey Busby, and Kelli Lott; and five great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon from 2 until 3 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, in Roseboro, and other times at the home.
