Mr. Russell Sherwood House, 41 of 1899 Laurel Lake Road, Salemburg, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at his home.

The funeral will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, May 6, at Butler Funeral Home with Reverend Andy Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

He was born June 1, 1975 in Sampson County and worked as a well driller. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Minnie Sessoms; and paternal grandparents, Pernon and Nolie House.

He is survived by his wife, Christy House; daughter, Samantha House; sons, Bryan House, and Dylan House; granddaughter, Aubrey Sparling; parents, Russell and Elaine House; sisters, Denise Matthews, Deirdre Herring, and Russanna House-Faircloth; and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45pm Saturday prior to the service, and other times at his home.

Services are by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
