Rupert Harold Brinson

Mr. Rubert Harold Brinson, 70 of Clinton, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at Rex Healthcare.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am Saturday, December 26 in the Life Center of Hollands Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2069 Huntley School Road, Roseboro, with Reverend Delton Deese, Reverend Steve Rhodes, Reverend Bryan Strickland and Reverend Earl Sutton officiating. Interment will follow at a later time.

Mr. Brinson was born January 27, 1945 in Duplin County to the late Bobbie and Vertie Mercer Brinson. He is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Isaac Shelton.

He retired as Manager of Sampson County Farm Bureau, and then was the owner and operator of RBIS Insurance Claims Company.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Faircloth Brinson of the home; children, Shelley Robinson and husband Dwight of Hampstead, Keith Brinson and wife Michelle of Princeton, Michael Shelton and wife Michelle of Roseboro, Joshua Shelton and wife Amy of Wilmington, Nathan Shelton and wife Jill of Roseboro; seven grandchildren; brother, Robbie Brinson of Pink Hill; and sisters, Reba Brannon of Louisiana, Nita Lee of Pink Hill.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
