Ruby Jane Chapman, 80 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in her sleep.

The family will have private services at a later time.

Ruby was born in Chadbourn, NC to the late Raymond Willie Mitchell and Julia Oxendine Mitchell.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Audrey "Neecey" Olsen & husband, Daryl of Dunn, Henry Mitchell of Hope Mills, Barbara Mitchell of Autryville, and Deronda "Bunny" Mitchell & wife, Peggy of Hope Mills; and her brother, Tommy Mitchell.
