Ruby (Cooper) Jackson

Ms. Ruby Cooper Jackson, 94 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Haymount Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.

Graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM Saturday at Cumberland Memorial Gardens, officiating will be Rev. Michael Stewart.  There will be a funeral procession to the cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her parents, David Farley Cooper and Mary Garner Cooper; husband, Joseph “Joe” Clarence Jackson; brother, Charles Cooper; and her sisters, Geneva Matthews, Agnes Keel, Marie Strickland, and Cathryn Mock.

Ruby was a longtime member of Baywood Church.  She loved her family and most of all loved her Lord and Savior.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, David Bruce Jackson & wife, Magdalena, Richard Lee Jackson & wife, Mary, and Sandra J. Bradshaw all of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Chris Bradshaw, Carina Lopez, and Melissa Cull; and great grandchildren, Beth, Ayden and Hannah.
