CLINTON
Mrs. Ruby Sessoms DuBuisson, 82 of 85 Deems Drive, Clinton passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at her home.
The funeral service will be held at 4:30 PM on Friday, October 24 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. Brian Woodall and Byran Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg.
Ruby Sessoms DuBuisson was born on April 19, 1932 to the late Tobe and Betty Sessoms of Salemburg. She was the cherished and loving wife of Harold DuBuisson for 36 years. She is preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Woodall.
Ruby was a dedicated military wife for twenty one years; she was a homemaker and worked as a door greeter at K-Mart in Clinton. She was a faithful Christian and member of the Clinton church of Christ. She was a member of the Sampson County Historical Society and the Red Hat Society. Her many benevolent acts of kindness are known throughout the county. Her wonderful life was filled with precious memories of her marriage to Harold, being able to travel around the world and ending peacefully surrounded by those she loved the most ... her cherished family.
She is survived by two precious daughters, Debbie Oliver, husband Robert of Clinton and Brenda Woodall, husband Shelton of Salemburg. Six grandchildren, Robert Oliver Jr., wife Haley, Angela Hoskins husband Christopher, Tara Barbour, Brian Woodall, wife Kristin, Brittany Day, husband Joe, and Selena Cruse. Sixteen Great Grandchildren, Lindsey Oliver, Devan Oliver, Miranda Ottaway, Andrew Bradshaw, Chase Bradshaw, Hannah Bradshaw, Drake Hoskins, Chloe Hoskins, Tristen Haynes, Karissa Barbour, Kaleigh Barbour, Eliza Day, Brian Woodall Jr, Anna Bell Woodall, Maisey Woodall and Lilly Woodall, all the lights of Ruby's LIFE! Brother Archie Sessoms, wife Catherine of Salemburg, two sisters, Loucinda Bell of Byron, Georgia and Dot Allen of Autryville and many loved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM until 4:15 PM on Friday at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
