Mr. Roy Hinton Hall, 82 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center surrounded by his family.

A Celebration of Roy’s Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Andy Wood and Rev. Bryan Strickland.  Burial will follow at Daniel Hall Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:50 PM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Roy retired as a salesperson for Conwood Company, and he worked with Butler Funeral Home for over 20 years.  He was also a member of Long Branch Baptist Church, and a past Master of Roseboro Masonic Lodge #585.

Roy was born in Sampson County to the late, Albert Robert “Ab” Hall and Vila B. McCall.  In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Tyndall Hall; son, Roy Keith Hall; grandson, Bret Allen West; sister, Mary E. Hall Reaves.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Lisa Bullard & her friend, Joseph “BB” Nation of Stedman; grandsons, Nicholas West of Stedman and Elijah West of Fayetteville; sister, Treva Held of Mt. Pleasant, TN; brothers, Roland Hall & wife, Mabel of Roseboro, and Leamon J. Hall & wife, Marilyn of Stedman; several nieces, nephews, and many special friends and co-workers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Operation Christmas Child, Long Branch Baptist Church, 2868 Minnie Hall Road, Autryville, NC  28318.
