ROSEBORO Mrs. Roxie New Sessoms, 74 of 406 E. North Street, Roseboro, died on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Myrick and Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow at the Roseboro Cemetery. Mrs. Sessoms was born on August 13, 1937 in Cumberland County to the late Jessie M. and Sally Guy New, Sr. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, M.C. Sessoms; one brother, Jessie "Bud" New, Jr. of Fayetteville; and two sisters, Stella Tanner of Roseboro and Ruth Hendricks of Fayetteville. She was a member of McGee United Methodist Church and worked in Central Supply at Sampson Regional Medical Center. She is survived by: one brother, William Henry New of Stedman; two sisters, Margaret Smith of Pink Hill and Jean McLamb of Eastover; a foster brother, Donald "Skeet" Guy of Autryville; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McGee United Methodist Church, P.O.
