SALEMBURG Mr. Ronnie Earl Knowles, Sr., 54 of 655 Elbow Road, Salemburg, died on Friday, August 24, 2012 at MCV Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Maxwell Cemetery in Autryville with Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Mr. Knowles was born on August 2, 1958 in Sampson County to Earl and Lillian McMillan Knowles. He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by: his son, Ron Knowles of Clinton; and his mother, Lillian Knowles Matthews of Clinton. The family will receive friends on Thursday morning following the service.
