Ronald Timothy “Timmy” Matthews, 57 went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 1, 2022.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Bethabara United Methodist Church in Autryville, officiating will be Rev. Hank Dunbar. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday at the church prior to the service.
Timmy is preceded in death by his parents, James Peyton Matthews and Ethelyn Williams Matthews.
Timmy loved watching sports, some of his favorite teams were Carolina Panthers, NC State Wolfpack, and the Giants in baseball. He also loved watching wrestling on TV.
Timmy leaves to cherish his memory, his brother, Jimmy Matthews; nephew, Steve Matthews & wife, Beth; great nephews, Cole Matthews & wife, Kristin and Drew Matthews; and a great great nephew, Hudson Matthews.
