Mr. Roman "Terry" Starling, 53 of 3032 Smith Road, Fayetteville, died on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was the owner and operator of Superior Motorcycle Company in Hope Mills. A native of Cumberland County, he was the son of the late Roman Starling, Jr. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, January 5 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Donna Clark officiating. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Starling of the home; son, Steven Terance Starling and wife, Amanda of Cary; daughter, Amanda Lynn Starling of Fayetteville; mother, and step-father, Gaynelle Starling O'Neal and Bobby O'Neal of Hope Mills; brothers, Randy Starling and wife, Kim and Michael Starling and wife, Tracey all of Fayetteville; sister, Sandra Starling of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Cheyenne Faith Matthews, Dakota Matthews, Gabriel Roman Starling and Jaden Lee Cranson.
