Mr. Roland Danville Matthews, 80 formerly of Fayetteville, NC, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at his home.

Private graveside services will be held.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roland Danville Matthews, Sr. & Gladys Heath Ross, his wife, Leona Reese Matthews; and sons, Gene Matthews and Roland (Tadpole) Matthews.

He was a United States Marine Veteran.

He is survived by his daughters, Paula Holland and Crystal Mayfield & husband, Dustin; son, Bobby Wayne Matthews; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
