Mr. Roland R. Bullard, 94

AUTRYVILLE Mr. Roland Roby Bullard, 94 of 692 Bullard Road, died on Tuesday July 24, 2007 at Bethesda Health Care in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 27, 2007 at Butler Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg. Mr. Bullard was born in 1912 in Sampson County to the late George Otho and Rachel Hattie Faircloth Bullard. He was a 60 year member of the Roseboro Masonic Lodge # 585 AF & AM., and a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church. He worked as a Safety Engineer in the Insurance industry. Mr. Bullard is survived by: his wife of 70 years, Hazel Bullard of the home; one daughter, Carolyn Blackburn of St. Pauls; one son, Sidney Bullard, and wife Ann of Stokes, NC; 4 grandchildren, Sheri Jolly, and husband Dickie of Wilmington, Kenneth Bullard, and wife Linda of Palmer, Alaska, Jon Newton of Cambridge, England, and Carla Amedee, and husband Brett of Lusaka, Zambia Africa; and 6 great grandchildren, Aaron Jolly, Tiffany Bullard, Amanda Bullard, Tyler Amedee, Seth Amedee, and Walker Amedee. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 until 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Union Baptist Church, 2300 Pleasant Union Road, Roseboro, N.C. 28382.
