Mr. Roland Paul Boutin, 83 of Salemburg went home to be with the Lord on January 30, 2022 at his home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 7 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Andy Wood officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethabara United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:50 PM on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mr. Boutin was a native of Hartford, Connecticut the son of the late Gustave Boutin and Dora Gagon Boutin.  In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his son, Lloyd Boutin.  He was a retired Sergeant First Class with the US Army.

He is survived by his wife, Betty A. Boutin of the home; a daughter-in-law, Jean Boutin of Salemburg; a brother, Leo Boutin and wife Sandra of Florida, and two sisters; Lena Traska and husband Fred of Connecticut, Pauline Silva and husband Alford of Connecticut; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews .
