Mr. Roger L. Jackson,, 60 Jr.

Mr. Roger L. Jackson, Jr., 60, of 9010 Clinton Road, Stedman, passed away Monday, May 29, 2006 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 1, 2006 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Honeycutt and Rev. Richard Spell officiating. The family will recieve friends after the service in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be held Friday, June 2, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Concord Baptist Church. There will not be a family night or viewing. Roger was a graduate of Campbell College and retired from the NC Dept. of Revenue after 33 years of service. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hesba Hall Jackson. Roger is survived by: father and step-mother, Rev. Roger L. Jackson, Sr. and Mildred of Roseboro; daughter, Cindy Bedard and her husband Mark, of Stedman; grandson, Cole Jackson Bedard; Cindy's Mother, Sandra Faye Autry, of Autryville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Union Baptist Church, 2300 Pleasant Union Church Road, Roseboro, NC 28382.
