Mr. Roger Ray Carter, Sr.

FAYETTEVILLE

Mr. Roger Ray Carter, Sr., 70 of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Judson Baptist Church, officiating will be Pastor Eddie Brookshire. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

He was born July 14, 1944 to the late James Raeford Carter and Eula Mae Averitte Carter. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonnie Kay Carter.

He is survived by his children, Robin Lynn Carter, Renee Carter & Ray Carter, all of Fayetteville; sisters, Linda Hall and husband, Lonnie of Fayetteville, Diane Hancock and husband, Joel of Fayetteville and Peggy Wright of Danville, VA. He is also survived by his canine companion, Sadie.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Friday, April 10, 2015 at the funeral home.
