Mr. Robert William Tanner, 79 Sr.

AUTRYVILLE Robert William Tanner Sr. 79 of 1351 Horseshoe Rd. Died at his home Thursday March 22, 2007. A Graveside service will be held Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at the Calton Tanner Cemetery off of Horseshoe Rd, in Autryville. Officiating the service will be Chaplain Roy Hilburn. Mr. Tanner a native of Sampson County, worked for many years in the trucking industry as a truck driver. Mr. Tanner is survived by his wife Mary C. Tanner of the home, four daughters: Pat Strickland of Autryville, Cathy Martin of Stedman, Louise Gibbons of Autryville and Frances Faircloth of Clinton and two sons: Marty Tanner and Travis Tanner of Autryville, Five Grandchildren and One Great-Grandchild Family will receive friends tonight at the visitation Friday March 23, 2007 at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro, N.C. from 6-8 P.M.
