Robert Taylor Rohme, 78 passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Chaplain Larry McCarty.  Burial with military honors will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Robert was born in Fredericksburg, VA to the late Sidney L. Rohme and Willie Mae Graves Rohme.  In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brothers, William, David, Francis, and John Rohme; and his sister, Shelby Jean Rohme.

Robert was a Vietnam Veteran with the United States Army, and he worked for many years with DK Taylor Oil Company.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 58 years, Helen Faircloth Rohme of the home; son, Robert Wayne Rohme of Stedman; daughter, Carol Rohme Naylor & husband, Franklin of Stedman; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a sister, Brenda Sullivan of Fredericksburg, VA.
