Mr. Robert L. Owen, 72

ROSEBORO After 72 years, Robert Love Owen of 2431 Autryville Road, Roseboro, NC lay down the toils of his earthly journey and walked through heaven's gates on June 27, 2007. His parents, Vernie and Mae Owen, a sister, Verna Mae Owen and two grandsons, Jason Register and Adam Hardison, preceded Mr. Owen in death. Robert and his wife, Priscilla Naylor Owen were blessed with three wonderful children: Connie and husband Neal Hardison of Fleetwood, NC, Bobby and wife Judy Owen, Scott and wife Joyce Owen all of Roseboro. Two grandsons, Robby Owen and Noah Scott Owen completed their family. A celebration of Mr. Owen's life will be held at Autryville Baptist Church at 3 o'clock on Friday, June 29, 2007. Burial will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg. The family will welcome friends from 6 until 8 o'clock on Thursday night, June 28, 2007 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
