Robert "Bob" Louis Lanford, 78 formerly of Newburgh, New York passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.

Bob served in the United States National Guard, and was a Sales Coordinator with Reed-Lallier Chevrolet in Fayetteville.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Blanche Lanford; son, Chad Lanford; and a daughter, Melynda Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 57 years, Sandy Lanford; son, Todd Lanford; grandchildren, Brandon Lanford, Haille Smith, Carys and Cailyn Lanford; niece, Shannon Knox & husband, Todd and their children Bradon and Landon Knox.
