Mr. Robert Lee Long, Sr., 80 of 637 Blawell Circle, Stedman, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the V.A. Medical Center in Fayetteville.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Stedman Baptist Church, 7342 Clinton Road, Stedman, with Dr. Phil Spears officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Long was born November 9, 1934 in Cumberland County to the late Robert Henry and Mary Kate Hall Long. He was a Korean War Veteran of the Army and was a roofing and sheet metal specialist.

He is survived by two sons, James Long and wife Jennifer, and Robert Long, Jr. and wife Joanne all of Fayetteville; and four grandchildren, Robbie Anne Landreth, Stephanie Hyatt, Jarren Wall and Sierra Long.

The family will receive friends Friday evening after 5:00 pm at the home, and on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 am at Stedman Baptist Church.
