Mr. Robert Lee “Buddy” Edge, 88 went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Evergreen Baptist Church with the Reverend Tommy Honeycutt Officiating. The burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:50 PM at the Church prior to the service.

Mr. Edge was a native of Cumberland County, the son of Leamon and Lillie Faircloth Edge. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Christine Hall, Kathleen Davis and Aslean Edge; and brother, Bobby Edge.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Patricia Edge of the home; four sons, Jeffrey Edge of Roseboro; Randy Edge of Roseboro; Allen Edge of Roseboro; and Christopher Edge of Fayetteville; two sisters, Madgeline Melvin of Autryville; and Ernestine Simmons of Roseboro; brother, Billy Edge of Benson; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
