FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Robert Eugene Jackson, 75 of 3625 Carlos Avenue died Thursday September 28, 2006 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday October 1,2006 at 3:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Brother Donald Pope officiating. Burial will follow in the George Horne Cemetery. Mr. Jackson was a native of Cumberland County and the son of the late Jerome Jackson and Sallie McLean. He was a Delivery Driver with Lowes Building Supply. Mr. Jackson is survived by: five step-daughters, Mary Joyce McLaurin of Fayetteville, Kay Lowther of Fayetteville, Brenda Chavis of Fayetteville, Barbara Candler of Parkton, and Alesia Horne of Fayetteville; two step-sons, William Horne of Parkton, and Rev. Johnny Horne of Lumber Bridge; one sister, Estelle Johnston of Fayetteville; 20 step grandchildren, and 4 step great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Sunday prior to the service from 2-3 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman, and other times at 6313 Lake Trail Drive, Fayetteville.
