Mr. Robert Alvin Henschel, 68

CLINTON Mr. Robert Alvin Henschel, 68 of 325 Grady Tew Lane, died on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Fallon Melvin and Rev. Danny Powell officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Council Family Cemetery in White Oak. Mr. Henschel was born on April 12, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Fred Paul and Alma Schoonover Henschel. He was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War and he worked as an Auctioneer Assistant. He is survived by: his wife, Linda Henschel of the home; and one son, Ira Henschel of Salisbury. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 1 to 2 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
