Robert "Bobby" Edward O'Neal, 66 passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

He was born September 19, 1950 in Cumberland County to the late, Edward O'Neal and Elderd Randolph O'Neal.

Bobby was a big truck mechanic for Carolina By Products for 20 years and he worked for Advance Auto for 18 years.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, December 9, 2016 at Hope Mills Pentecostal Church, officiating will be Rev. Elton Bryan. Interment will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the church before the service.

He is survived by his wife, Gaynelle Cooper O'Neal of the home; sons, Brian O'Neal of Fayetteville and Bradley O'Neal of Fayetteville; sisters, Cheryl Long & husband, John of Fayetteville and Beth Scroggins & husband, Jimmy of Fayetteville; step-sons, Randy Starling & wife, Kim of Fayetteville and Mike Starling & wife, Tracey of Fayetteville; step-daughter, Sandra Starling of Fayetteville; and 4 step-grandchildren, Christopher Starling of Fayetteville, Brittany Starling of Fayetteville, Wesley Starling of Fayetteville and Dustin Starling of Kill Devil Hills.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Mills Pentecostal Holiness Church, 5855 Rockfish Road, Hope Mills, NC 28348.
