Robert Earl Criscoe, 84 passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, July 28, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Pastor Gary Horne. Burial with military honors will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Cena Criscoe; and his daughter, Lacie Davison.
Robert was a US Army Veteran, retired from the NC Department of Transportation, and a member of Stedman Baptist Church. He also was a 1958 graduate of Massey Hill High School. His hobbies included: bowling, archery, camping, motorcycles, taking care of all of his seven cats, feeding the birds outside, and dancing.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 29 years, Pam Kivett Criscoe of the home; son, Ray Criscoe & wife, Leslie of Asheboro; daughters, Amy Mallet of Montgomery, ILL; daughter, Crystal Conaway & family of Summerfield, NC; step-sons, Tim Davis & wife, Misty of Eastover, and Wayne Davis of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Aaron and Chaz Mallet, Dallas and Connor Criscoe, Tessa Davison, Jaxon, Maci, and Lincoln Davis.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert’s memory to NC Alzheimer’s Association, 5171 Greenwood Ave. Ste 101, Raleigh, NC 27612 or online at alz.org.
Robert’s family and friends will always remember the last thing he would say as he was leaving, “If you need anything you call me, if you need anything at all, you call me.”
