Mr. Robert S. Carter, 62

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Robert Stanley Carter, 62 of 1421 Seabrook School Road, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Donald Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Carter was born in 1946 in Cumberland County to the late Ernest and Clady Faircloth Carter. He worked as a Custodian with Mac Williams Middle School. Mr. Carter is survived by: three aunts, Doris Carter of Fayetteville, Dorcas Tyndall of White Oak, and Earline Buck of Fayetteville; and several cousins. The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon from 3 until 4 P.M. at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy. Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
