Mr. Robert Edward Brisson, 92

STEDMAN Mr. Robert Edward Brisson, 92, of 393 Wade Stedman Rd. passed away Friday, August 24, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Brisson was born February 3, 1920 in Hoke County to the late Walter P. Brisson and Melvina Overton Brisson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Madge Equa Brisson. He was a farmer most of his life and also worked as a drywall finisher. He was a Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Stedman Church of God of Prophecy. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 27 at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Donald Baldwin and Pastor Jeff Burkhardt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Brisson is survived by: two daughters, Julia Ford (husband, Edgar) of Greensboro and Nellie Underwood (husband R.W.) of Southport; one son, Donald E. Brisson, Sr. (wife, Barbara) of Orlando, FL; two brothers, Preston Brisson of Fayetteville and Marvin Brisson of Kernersville; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, August 25 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 27 at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Donald Baldwin and Pastor Jeff Burkhardt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
