Robert Eugene "Bobby" Autry, 79

CLINTON

Mr. Robert Eugene "Bobby" Autry, 79 of Clinton, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm Friday, October 6, at Bethabara United Methodist Church, 4725 Maxwell Road, Autryville, with Reverend Hank Dunbar and Reverend Dorothy Rudd officiating.

Born April 11, 1938 in Sampson County, he was the son of the late William Butler and Bettie Florence Capps Autry. He was an Air Force Veteran and worked as a Jewelry Sales Manager.

He is survived by his sons, Robert Cole and wife Becky, Jamie Cole and wife Tina; daughters, Natalie Lynn Thompson and husband Greg, Christy Michelle Horne and husband Mark; sister, Betty Autry Boutin and husband Roland; brother, Billy E. Autry and wife Avis; and nine grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethabara United Methodist Church, 4725 Maxwell Road, Autryville, NC 28318.

Services are by Butler Funeral Home of Stedman.
