STEDMAN Mr. Robert Clarton "Bobby" Autry, 73 of 6116 Roebud Road, Stedman died Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Bethany Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Jeff Burkhardt, Rev. Donald Baldwin and Rev. Craig Autry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Autry was a native of Cumberland County, the son of the late Willie and Maude Barefoot Autry. He was a heavy equipment operator with Cumberland County and a farmer. He is survived by his wife, Iris Ivey Autry of the home; one daughter, Connie Meade and husband, Gary of Stedman; 3 step daughters, Laurie Wardrup of Bladenboro, Debi McWhorter and Brenda Douglas and husband, Kenny both of Stedman; 2 step grandsons, Stephen McWhorter of Florida and Philip McWhorter of Stedman; 3 step great grandsons. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday evening at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
