Robert Elwood Bihlear, 71

ROSEBORO

Mr. Robert Elwood Bihlear, 71 of Roseboro, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The funeral will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, September 19, at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Reverend Bryan Strickland officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Roseboro Cemetery.

Born July 13, 1946 in Columbus, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Edward H. and Eleanor Green Bihlear. He was a Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired Automotive Mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Bihlear; daughter, Lori Ann Bihlear; sons, Robert Joseph and wife Sharon Lee Bihlear, Steven Richard and wife Katrina Bihlear; ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45pm Tuesday prior to the service.
