GARLAND Mr. Ro Talton "R.T." Beasley, Jr., 72, of 11280 Old Mintz Highway, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at his home. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 13, 2007 at 2 PM at Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. John Denson officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Bluff Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mr. Beasley was the son of the late Ro Talton Beasley, Sr. and Lessie Johnson Beasley. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Jones. Mr. Beasley is survived by: wife, Lucy Beasley, of the home; daughter, Anne Westbrook and husband James, of Garland; two sons, Ricky Beasley and wife Virginia, of Angier and Jeff Beasley and wife Emily, of Greenville; five sisters, Allie May West, of Erwin, Elgie Herndon, of Gays Creek, Nora Cain, of Mt. Holly, Linda Lee, of Wade and Alice Matthis, of Fayetteville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:30 till 8:30 at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
