ROSEBORO Mr. Ricky Lee Williams, 61 of 3463 Elizabethtown Highway, Roseboro, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at his home. The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with military honors. He was born on October 10, 1953 in Johnston County to the late Robert Nathaniel and Esther Lee Wood Williams. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Wayne Williams. He retired from the U.S. Army as a Sergeant First Class after 20 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Mannie F. Williams of the home; daughter, Mary Anne Walker of Roseboro; son, James Jefferson of Pine Tops; sister, Alice Summerlin of Clayton; brother, Sherwood Williams of Princeton; grandsons, D.J. Walker and Eli Walker both of Roseboro; mother-in-law, Peggy Faircloth of the home; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.
