Ms. Retha Paulette Monroe, 67

FAYETTEVILLE

Ms. Retha Paulette Monroe, 67 of 2218 Enloe Street, Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at her home.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 27, 2015 at Butler Funeral Home, Stedman, with Rev. Bryan Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, Fayetteville.

Ms. Monroe was born on May 25, 1947 in Cumberland County. She is preceded in death by her father, Raymon Lecy Monroe. She worked with Black and Decker for 13 years and was a member of Cumberland Baptist Church of Fayetteville.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia Barefoot and husband Joel of Dunn, and Jennifer Cashwell and husband Pat of South Carolina; her mother, Pauline Vinson Monroe; one sister, Edith Eytchison and husband Art of Oregon; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 P.M. Friday afternoon at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
