Ret SFC Mr. Charles Craddock Williams, 98 passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Cumberland Memorial Gardens with full military honors, officiating will be Rev. Joe Hickson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, July 21, 2017 at the funeral home.

He is preceded in death by his parents Nathan Alexander Williams and Julia Margaret Williams; step mother, Mary Janie Geddie; first wife, Juanita Tanner Williams; second wife, Bertha Taylor Williams; son, Marty Williams; daughter-in-law, Gerrie Williams; great great grandson, Benjamin; and sisters, Gladys Mathews & Dixie Autry.

He retired from the United States Army with over 31 years of service and he retired from civil service with 16 years of service.

He is survived by his children, Michael B. Williams & wife, Anita, Mary "Peggy" Fox & husband, Larry, Donald Collier & wife, Gail, Gregg Collier, Jessica Coutu & husband, Jeff and Gwendolyn McGhee & husband, Mack; 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; former caregiver, Susan Nobles and caregiver, Linda Pruitt.

Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
