Mr. Resson Oliver Faircloth, Sr. 80 passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 4, 2018 at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. John Hobbs and Rev. Dudley Neal officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Faircloth was born on August 10, 1937 to the late WIllie Cornelius and Nina Sessoms Faircloth. He was a farmer and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Hilda Mae Hobbs Faircloth; two brothers, Jim Faircloth and Joel Faircloth and one sister, Minnie Frances Faircloth.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Spell Faircloth; two sons, Resson O. Faircloth, II of Dunn and John N. Faircloth of Clinton; one daughter, Frankie Mae F. Driver of Raleigh; grandchildren, Clif and wife, Brittney, Nichole and husband, Joseph, Allison, Sarah Mae and Trey; great grandchildren, Payton, Chason, EllaJoe and soon to be Raelee Mae: one brother, Bill Faircloth of Autryville and one sister, Faye Hall of Autryville.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday, June 3 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
