Mrs. Rebecca Nunnery Bunce, 85

STEDMAN Mrs. Rebecca Nunnery Bunce, 85 of Stedman, went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2014 at her home. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Rayford and Tomsel Carter Nunnery of Stedman, NC; her husband of 67 years, Myron Gray Bunce; and siblings, Ruth Williams of Godwin, NC, and Ezra Nunnery of Henderson, NC. She is survived by: three daughters, Barbara Dail of Wade, NC, Linda Bunce of Kure Beach, NC, and Donna Miller and husband Bruce of Stedman, NC; six grandchildren, Dena Dail Breece of Fayetteville, NC, Richard Dail of Indian Trail, NC, Jonathan Cain of Huntersville, NC, Joshua Cain of Clermont, FL, Anza King of High Point, NC, and Allyson Miller Durst of Fort Walton Beach, FL; and five great grandchildren, Samuel Dail, Ryann Dail, Hudson Cain, Grecyn Cain and Dalton King. She is also survived by: six sisters, Ruby Benkelman of Virginia Beach, VA, Reba Sanford of Winston-Salem, NC, Retta Law and husband Bill of Durham, NC, Rosita Edwards and husband Hugh of Cleveland, TN, Roberta Matthews of Cocoa, FL, and Rowan Marling and husband Dan of Cocoa, FL; sister-in-law, Edna Nunnery of Henderson, NC; sisters-in-law, Grace Matthews and Elise Bunce both of Stedman, NC, and brother-in-law, Leon Bunce of Fayetteville, NC. Mrs. Bunce was a lifelong resident of Cumberland County and a member of Bethany Church of God of Prophecy. She was a homemaker, seamstress, sales consultant for Home Interiors, manager of Golden Skillet restaurant, and co-owner with her husband of Bunce's Barbecue. The family will receive friends at Bethany Church of God of Prophecy, 7350 Maxwell Road, Stedman, NC, on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 1:00 to 2:30 P.M. with the funeral service following at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Jeff Burkhardt and Rev.
