Reavis Mae Tew, 89

CLINTON

Mrs. Reavis Mae Tew, 89 of Clinton, formerly of Autryville, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Southwood Nursing Center.

The funeral will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, January 10, at Union Grove Baptist Church, 395 Vander Road, Salemburg, with Reverend Paul Honeycutt and Reverend J.D. Tew officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Born January 23, 1928 in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Dallas and Betty Wrench Tew. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Tew; and daughter, Paula Tyndall. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Hal Tew and wife Sondra of Autryville; grandchildren, Justin Tyndall and wife Miranda, Faron Davis and husband Matthew, Darren Tew and wife Ashley; great grandchildren, Chelesa, Mackenzie, Layla, Adalyn; sister, Betty Porter; and sisters-in-law, Maybelle Hall, Faye Tew.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Tuesday at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, and other times at the home of her son.

Services are by Butler Funeral Home of Roseboro.
