Raymond "Ray" Robert Mclaughlin, Sr.

Mr. Raymond "Ray" Robert McLaughlin, Sr., 64 passed away Friday, October 19, 2018.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Marvin McLaughlin; and son, Daniel Raymond McLaughlin.

Ray was born in Olean, New York on March 7, 1954.  He graduated from Alleghany Central High School in 1972.

Ray retired from the United States Army with over 22 years of service and he also retired from Federal Express.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Herring McLaughlin; mother, Lois McLaughlin; son, Raymond Robert McLaughlin, Jr.; step-son, Brian Herring, step-grandson, Colton Herring; brother, Michael McLaughlin of Hensdale, NY; sister, Linda McLaughlin Menter; granddaughters, Madison R. McLaughlin and Cameron B. McLaughlin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ray's honor to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park #10, Raleigh, NC  27615.
