Mr. Raymond Chester Hedges, 88 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Lebanon Baptist Church in Eastover, officiating will be Pastor Tommy Knight. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM Tuesday at the church prior to the service.

Raymond was born in Walthill, Nebraska to the late Chester and Grace Hedges. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brothers, Frank and George Hedges; and his sisters, Eva Beaudette, Betty Forristal and Alice Anderson.

Raymond was a farmer all of his life, he was also a member of Lebanon Baptist Church, and was a United States Air Force Veteran. He retired from Borden Chemical Company with over 39 years of service as a Maintenance Supervisor. He loved his Lord and Savior, farming and especially his family. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Barbara Jackson Hedges; children, Rhonda Dorman & husband, Stephen, Stephen Hedges & wife, Juliana, and Douglas Schultz & wife, Amy; and grandchildren, Morgan Taylor, Landon Dorman, Samantha, Joshua and Lauren Schultz.
