Mr. Ralph Milton Sessoms, 64 of Roseboro, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 13, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at The Roseboro Fire Department with Reverend Rick Rigney, Reverend Andy Wood, Reverend Greg Smith, Reverend Tom Hayes and Mr. Jeffery Sessoms officiating. The burial will follow at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Fireman’s Honors.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

Milton served on the Roseboro Fire Department. He was a gravedigger for Butler Funeral Home for 23 years. He also was the owner and operator of Sessoms Pressure Washing Company.

Mr. Sessoms was a native of Sampson County, the son of Ralph Martin and Geneva Greene Sessoms. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Robert Sessoms and Kenneth Sessoms.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Bobbie Sue Sessoms of the home; his son, Allen Sessoms (Marilyn) of Clinton; three daughters, Pam Baker (Danny) of Canton; Amanda Sessoms of Meadow; and Regina Sessoms of Faison; three step-children, Bobbie Jo Cummings of Roseboro; Kimberlie Underwood of Roseboro; and Sam Underwood (Amanda) of Clinton; nineteen grandchildren; his sister, Brenda Hobson (Henry) of Roseboro; and several nieces and nephews.
