Ms. Rachel Ann Odum, 73

SALEMBURG Ms. Rachel Ann Odum, 73 of 403 Salem Circle, Salemburg passed away on July 23, 2014 at the Sampson Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, July 24 at Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jeff Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late H. Merton and Gertrude Green Odum. She was a certified nursing assistant. Ms. Odum is survived by four sisters, Bonnie Odum of Parkton, Ellen Williams and Margaret Schneider both of Roseboro and Ada Louise Carter of Garland; two brothers, Earl Odum of Autryville and James Odum of Roseboro; also several nieces and nephews. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, July 24 at Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jeff Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
